Analyst Q&A 2
monthly users, expenses, share count, DataSeeds plans
Q (Allen Klee · Maxim Group): The analyst asked how the company plans to stabilize monthly active users, why SG&A jumped and whether that is the new run rate, the current share count, and how they will spend new equity on DataSeeds.
A: Management said they are pursuing two parallel tracks: product features and expanding paid user acquisition channels to stabilize monthly active users. They said SG&A rose primarily because net compensation increased after the U.S. dollar depreciated against the Israeli shekel, which raised comp expenses in Israel, GuruShots and some employee advance. For DataSeeds they will hire sales, marketing and technology talent, and they have built capabilities to ensure high acceptance rates, launched an evals platform, and are beginning video annotations.
"One is sales talent, so sales account executives, SDRs that have an existing book of business are deep in the space." — Jonathan Reich (COO)
DataSeeds investment, pipeline, robotics, innovation, Tapedeck
Q (Derek Greenberg · Maxim Group): The analyst asked how much they will invest in fiscal 2027 and the effect on expenses, how the pipeline is progressing and what areas show interest, how DataSeeds might scale versus the legacy business over years, the innovation product updates, and Tapedeck status.
A: They said they will put money to work but keep a cushion of, give or take, $20 million on the balance sheet and are not going to consume that $7.5 million all upfront. The pipeline is filling with well-known technology and AI leaders and venture-funded entrants, order sizes are increasing with some prospects discussing 6-digit plus orders, and they have started delivering in the robotics space. They built an egocentric data capture app and can deliver unified datasets with video plus phone sensor data through their managed crowd offering or DataSeeds Production Cloud depending on complexity; they also noted repeat orders from existing customers.
"We have started to deliver in the robotics space and the opportunity coming out of the robotics space is significant because that data does not exist for the most part." — Jonathan Reich (COO)
