Key quotes
"The good news is that the eight units in question have since been approved, and the related revenue will be recognized in the third quarter."
"When the dedicated CPT code took effect January 1, our first job was education. Physicians needed to understand the codes, understand the economics, and most importantly, see that reimbursement was actually being paid out."
"Internationally, I spent a significant amount of time during the quarter developing our opportunities across the Asia-Pacific, particularly in Australia, New Zealand, China, and Hong Kong."
Analyst Q&A 2
delayed eight units, pricing, pipeline, revenue mix
Q (Anthony Vendetti · Maxim Group): He asked whether the eight delayed units were part of the 19 units and whether those eight were SRT-100 or SRT-100+. He also asked if the pipeline orders were ready-to-place, whether a former large customer will buy again, and how revenue will split between Fair Deal recurring and outright sales.
A: Those eight units were part of a set that would have made 19 units for Q2 but fell into Q3; the 11 were booked for Q2 and the eight were approved and sold with another bank. They were all SRT-100s and management expects an average selling price closer to $250,000 each. The pipeline includes many new and existing customers from the last six to nine months, they expect more orders in the second half, the former largest customer is not buying and not expected to buy, and revenue is roughly 50/50 recurring versus outright sales.
"This relates to the 11 units that we booked and have marked as booked for Q2." — Joe Sardano (CEO·CHAIR)
sales mix, Sensus Link, reimbursement change
Q (Ben Haynor · Lake Street): He asked how the 11 sales split between direct sales and recurring/rental, whether unit counts will increase to 20+ in Q3/Q4, Sensus Link activation progress, and any updates on physician fee schedule or dermatology reimbursement.
A: Out of the 11, six were direct sales. Management expects sequential unit growth and a stronger third quarter. Sensus Link is being adopted by almost every new customer and the company hired inside sales to expand activations; the hospital physician fee schedule proposed a 26% increase for level one radiation and there is no known issue for dermatology, with the new code having started January 1.
