Analyst Q&A 2
Small cell, DAC sales, aerospace customer
Q (Tyler Burmeister · Lake Street): He asked whether small-cell integrations improved and if earlier disruptions are now behind them. He also asked how big the DAC business will be this year and whether the aerospace customer's strength will lead to more customers.
A: Management said small-cell deployments started to pick up as they expected and are accelerating into the fourth quarter and fiscal 2027, though dollars were delayed versus initial expectations. For DAC, they said it grew from being immaterial to "millions of dollars per quarter" and that they expect to be north of $10 million in sales and accelerating, with expansion beyond traditional wireless customers. On the aerospace account, they said the Long Island team is doing design and engineering work, the relationship looks long-term, and success there is opening conversations with other customers.
"So our expectation is to be north of $10 million in sales." — Robert D. Dawson (CEO)
Carrier spending, DAC/NEMA4 timing, edge demand
Q (Matthew Maus · B. Riley): He asked if a wireless carrier being about 17% of sales reflects outdoor build season and whether that level will continue into Q4. He also asked when DAC trials and NEMA 4 opportunities will become real revenue, whether big edge deals translate to demand, and how carrier CapEx/OpEx should trend.
A: They said top customers move quarter to quarter by project timing, but selling multiple product lines to the same customers makes their contributions healthier and gives comfort for continuation into Q4 and fiscal 2027. On DAC and NEMA 4, they said those edge and wireline/edge data center applications are proving success and the deployment schedules with customers start to accelerate into fiscal 27, so not a huge material contribution this fiscal year but more in fiscal 27. Regarding big edge deals and carrier spending, they called such deals encouraging though not one-for-one, said projections show carrier spend largely flat, and noted the company does not tie its growth 1-for-1 to carrier CapEx because they sell across CapEx and OpEx buckets.
"We have got to put all those into the same area where those markets and that application for us is proving success and the deployment schedules that we are looking at with customers jointly start to accelerate into fiscal 27." — Robert D. Dawson (CEO)
