Analyst Q&A 2
South Carolina contract and Command pipeline
Q (Mike Latimore · Northland): How does the new South Carolina contract expand opportunity versus the prior contract? Also, what is the pipeline for Command and do you expect new wins this calendar year?
A: The South Carolina contract expands their current footprint in South Carolina and lets them pursue additional work there, similar to Georgia. For Command, they said they continue to monitor the pipeline and see potential for new wins. They said working with government is hard to time, but they are in communication with different DOTs and jurisdictions.
"The South Carolina contract will expand our current footprint in South Carolina." — Joseph Nalepa
Privacy concerns about ALPR
Q (Private Investor): How are competitors' privacy issues affecting the market, and what is your sales team doing to ease concerns and win more contracts?
A: Management said the industry is in flux with a lot of press and that governments and agencies are pausing decisions. They said some competitors are losing contracts or being replaced, while RECORE has focused on privacy for years. They noted patents about how data is used and said that stance should help as governments sort the issue.
"If you look at some of the patents we filed, you know, half a decade ago, they were always around how this data is used." — Robert Alan Berman (CEO)
