Analyst Q&A 2
Which dosing schedule advances to Phase 3
Q (H.C. Wainwright): Which regimen (every 4 weeks without methotrexate or every 8 weeks with methotrexate) will move to Phase 3, and could a modest month-6 responder difference be offset by avoiding methotrexate or extending dosing? Also, how do PK/PD and immunogenicity support the fixed 36-milligram dose and what ADA profile would allow every 4 weeks dosing without methotrexate?
A: They said Phase 2 multiple-dose results will determine which regimens continue and it is too early to decide today. Management noted immunogenicity and IRR must be considered along with frequency and methotrexate use. They said Phase 2 will give a clearer ADA picture and that 36-milligram was chosen from Phase 1 PK/PD and convenience for patients.
"We are running now the multiple dose study on the Phase 2." — Dror Bashan (CEO)
Elfabrio purchases, trial sites, Amgen pricing
Q (John Vandermosten · Zacks SCR): Why were Elfabrio purchases lumpy this quarter—new approvals or inventory changes? How is site activation going for study 115 and when will enrollment finish? Does Amgen's price increases change the market view for your product?
A: They said look at year-to-date results; the quarter’s increase reflected Chiesi’s business growth and mainly their inventory management. For the trial, they said only one site may be missing and they expect to finalize enrollment within the next 5 months, by year-end, as planned. On Amgen, Dror said he has no insights, and Gilad added that revenues are growing ("$1.3 billion in 2025" trending to "$1.6 billion"), which is encouraging for 115.
"We did have a nice quarter from Chiesi, which reflects also their growth of the business, but mainly reflects their inventory management." — Gilad Mamlok (CFO)
