Analyst Q&A 1
Food and beverage demand; assets held for sale
Q (Bill Dezellem · Tieton Capital Management): He asked for more detail on why the company increased its view of the food and beverage market and whether that was market-driven or from the Focused Transformation program. He also asked what the $7.3 million assets held for sale are, since Tire Supply closed on August 31.
A: Management said they have seen strong quotation volume, a strong backlog, and pipeline growth as customers pull demand and look to automation; they added commercial focus with Gustavo Oberto and expect Seed Box activity into Q4. On the assets held for sale, they said the sale of the North America MTS supply business has occurred and they are still working through a separate sale of the Central America business.
"We've just seen really strong quotation volume coming in and have a strong backlog going into the end of the year and continue to develop our pipeline." — Samantha Rutty (CFO)
