Analyst Q&A 1
big cloud customers and partners
Q (Casey Ryan · Amarex): He asked whether big cloud customers build solutions themselves or partner, if all will follow one that does it, and how long evaluations take. He also asked about partnerships with other data-center component companies, whether the capacity deal showed customer interest, and an update on Stellantis discussions.
A: He said it is more about the personality of each hyperscaler: some engage at the component level and others want higher, system-level solutions, so IPWR aims to provide circuit protection with intelligence that can be integrated. The evaluation timing is tied to the 800 volt DC data center power evolution anticipated starting from the second half of next year, with adoption into the end of the year and into 28. They will work at each level — with traditional customers, system integrators, and hyperscalers — and the new long term supply agreement supports long-term scaling and a cost structure to target gross margins of 40%+; discussions with Stellantis have deepened toward a solid-state contactor program.
