Analyst Q&A 2
Is AI driving growth? And tax rate?
Q (Jacob Hagerty · Baird): The analyst asked if IBEX is already seeing benefits from AI and whether AI is part of the current growth or could accelerate growth in coming years. He also asked a modeling question on the FQ4 tax rate and whether it should return to near 20% or stay lower.
A: Management said the Sierra partnership and AI work differentiate the company and help potential clients notice and choose them. They said AI agents let them scale faster and create an additional dimension of growth, and they believe this helps future-proof the business. For taxes, they expect the tax rate to be in the 20 to 22% range going forward; FQ4 benefited from discrete tax items.
"So going forward, we would expect our tax rate to continue to be in that 20 to 22% range." — Taylor C. Greenwald
Growth outlook by business area
Q (David Page · RBC): The analyst asked for more color on each vertical (health care, ecommerce, travel/transportation, etc.) into Q1 and into 2027, and whether growth will accelerate and where to focus.
A: Management said growth is broad-based across verticals. In health care they have a strong pipeline with big payers and are winning in specialty areas like nonemergency medical transportation. They said ecommerce (including rapid growth in Pakistan) and travel are winning new logos and market share, and they expect the 9 new logos are not a one-off and said they feel strong about the 2027 trajectory.
"As I look into 2027, I feel really strong about the trajectory of the business." — Robert T. Dechant (CEO)
