Analyst Q&A 2
ReefIQ recurring revenue and deals
Q (Charles Wallace · H.C. Wainwright): He asked what portion of the $3.8 million was recurring platform revenue and asked what are the gating factors and timing for the ReefIQ negotiations. He also asked about the timing and use of the $30 million credit facility and whether it replaces the Cayman financing.
A: Management said ReefIQ was just released in June and is not yet an in-place data management platform, so they do not have that recurring breakdown ready and would have Scott confirm if needed. They said the main gating factors are IT security and data governance reviews, legal and procurement terms for multi-year platform contracts, and scoping of initial deployment programs; they declined to give a specific close timing. For the credit facility, they said they have 60 days to finalize the credit agreement, will draw only as needed, and it does not replace the Cayman ring-fenced program financing which is still being set up.
"The first big one is really about IT security and data governance review, which is something you've probably heard us talk a lot about over the last 6 months." — Jennifer Bath (CEO)
Revenue outlook and customer focus
Q (Danya Ben-Hail · Jones): She asked how investors should think about revenue growth over the next 12 months and 2 years, and whether revenue will settle into a run rate. She also asked what parts of ReefIQ or subscriptions pharma and biotech are most focused on.
A: Management said initial ReefIQ agreements will likely be lumpy, with milestone-based engineering up front that then converts to annual recurring revenue, so revenue is hard to forecast and depends on adoption. They said once they can announce an agreement they will give more detail on the revenue model. They added that most client conversations are now partnership discussions, many clients use the LensAI SaaS subscription, and early ReefIQ interest is coming mainly from larger pharmaceutical companies.
"Yes, I mean, these initial ReefIQ agreements are probably going to be relatively lumpy." — Richard Areglado
