Analyst Q&A 1
Where will 2027 spending increase?
Q (Joshua Jayne · Daniel Energy Partners): He asked whether 2027 capital spending will rise more in some regions or be global. He also asked if U.S. production enhancement demand differs between private operators and larger public operators.
A: Management said conversations show a global increase in capital spending for 2027. They said many of those are long-cycle projects and will not be terribly influenced by short-term fluctuations in the price of crude oil. For U.S. production enhancement, they said the recent uptick has been driven by smaller private operators while larger operators plan to execute their existing budgets and not flex them much.
