Analyst Q&A 1
India JV vessel plans
Q: The analyst asked if BWLP would scale up in India and how current disruptions in Hormuz affect that market.
A: Management said BWLP has a presence in India and expects to continue that presence. They said there could be periods with fewer ships, and that moving ships to the JV is part of their business model — they dropped 2 of their 2015-built vessels to the JV last year and said that could happen again; they will announce to the market if it does.
"We obviously have a presence in India, which is important for us." — Kristian Sørensen
