Analyst Q&A 1
patent status, expiration year, spin-out plans
Q (Raghuram Selvaraju · H.C. Wainwright): He asked when the composition-of-matter patents would expire, how the patent portfolio changed during the Indivior collaboration, and whether Addex might spin out that portfolio or license it.
A: They filed five patents in the GABAB PAM program in 2024 that are progressing toward grant, and they said the expected expiration is 2044. Addex did the chemistry and biology, filed and managed the patents, and the Indivior license has been terminated; the patents were not joint. They said a few additional claims were added and that they will pursue partners, investor talks, or a potential spin-out while seeking capital to advance the programs.
